Ready-AbZORB – Our pioneering technology eliminates prewashing and drying normally needed to activate the super absorbency. It also reduces 60-80% of the shrinkage, so you get more fabric for your money.
-
Absorbs 10 times its weight in under 2 seconds and soaks up 20 times faster than other material (bamboo, cotton, hemp knits)
-
SILVADUR® is proven to be safe against the skin. Tests of bamboo, cotton and polyester treated with 10 times the recommended amount of SILVADUR® found no skin irritation or sensitization after multiple exposures.
-
Durable & reversible, it contains thirsty Zorb® 3D fibers between a face and back of 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton
-
CPSIA certified, meeting stringent standards by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead and phthalates and flammability.
-
Engineered to meet exacting USA requirements, this is the highest quality-assured organic fabric on the market.
-
Unique, three-dimensional engineered dimple pattern provides greater retention, superior hold, faster distribution of moisture and less leaking under compression
-
All Zorb fabrics are super absorbent by virtue of their knitting construction; they are not made with SAP (super absorbent polymers), so their super absorbency lasts for the lifetime of the fabric.
A Single Layer Does the Trick
While some of our fabrics need to be used as interlining layers, our Bamboo Dimple Silver Fabric can be used on its own. And with our Ready-AbZORB technology, you don’t need to worry about washing or drying the fabric before sewing.
As Absorbent As You Need
Did you know that two layers of our Bamboo Dimple Silver Fabric will do the same job as eight flannel, six french terry, and five fleece layers? If you need even more absorbency, you can pile on the layers. Zorb is designed to increase its absorbency with every layer.
Anti-Smell, Pro-Comfort
Our SILVADUR Antimicrobial technology keeps bacteria, fungi, and algae away from your fabric, all while controlling foul odors and keeping your material fresh. Whether it goes in your baby’s crib or is worn as activewear, it will stay fresh for longer!
Ideal Uses
You can use Zorb for so many different things. The same yard of fabric can be used for various products!
We recommend using our Bamboo Dimple Silver Fabric for activewear, bed liners, bibs, burp cloths, cage liners, cloth diapers, diaper inserts, dish mats, dog diapers, face masks, fitness wear, mop pads, menstrual pads, nursing pads, period panties, pet beds, pet potty pads, towels, and washcloths.
Unsure of which fabric would be best? We offer 4x4 swatches to test before you commit to a fabric. You can rest assured knowing you’ll find a suitable fabric for your needs.

Important Notice about Natural Fiber Fabrics:
The attributes of natural fiber fabrics such as bamboo, cotton, and organic cotton can be influenced by various factors including the specific type of fiber used, the plant or tree from which it was harvested, and the unique properties of the soil. Despite the weight of the fabric remaining constant, its tactile sensation and perceived thinness can vary. This is largely dependent on the fullness of the yarn, which is dictated by the inherent characteristics of the fiber.
Fabric Weight: 475 GSM / 14 ounces per square yard
Fabric Width: 60" - 62" wide / 152 cm - 157 cm wide
Fabric Thickness: 0.075 inch /- 10%
Approx. Shrinkage (Length): 5% - 6%
Approx. Shrinkage (Width): 5% - 6%
Important Note about Shrinkage
All natural fiber knits will shrink further. Percent shrinkage has been tested in a controlled lab. It may vary under different wash/dry conditions and from batch to batch. It is recommended to test shrinkage on a small piece first and then pre-wash whole yardage at the setting that your finished stitched item will be washed.
Approx. Stretch (Length): 10%
Approx. Stretch (Width): 10%
UPF Rating: 50
☀️
Important Note about UPF Ratings:
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 % of the sun’s rays and allows 2% (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly. A UPF 30 fabric blocks 97% of UV rays and allows roughly 3% of UV transmission. UPF 15 indicates that the fabric blocks roughly 93% of UV rays and allows about 7% of available UV radiation to pass through.
UPF 10 to 30 = Fair Protection
UPF 30 to 50 = Good Protection
UPS 50 = Excellent Protection

❗
Important Note about Absorbency in 3D & 4D Zorb fabrics:
These fabrics are designed to be absorbent and made without the use of any chemicals during manufacturing. Our Ready-AbZorb process helps eliminate the need for pre-washing for absorption and also reduces the shrinkage. However the fabrics are made in large batch sizes on industrial machines and sometimes the fabric may not absorb as desired from when you receive it, or sometimes after cutting and sewing. In such cases, we recommend running the fabric through a hot wash and medium dry cycle; this will help remove any handling residues and activate the super absorbent fibers that might have been affected by handling.
