Super Absorbent Technology
We don’t use super absorbent polymers in our fabrics. SAPs are chemicals that contribute to how absorbent a piece of fabric is. As the chemicals fade from the fabric, so does the absorbency. We eliminated this problem through our technology–Ready-AbZORB.
Ready-AbZORB ensures super absorbency for the lifetime of the fabric and saves you time and money by reducing the shrinkage in the fabric and activating it's absorbency. Our fabric doesn’t need to be washed or dried to activate the absorbency. But it is safe to wash without causing massive shrinkage like many other similar materials.
Our fabric is so absorbent that two layers of our 3D Bamboo Dimple LITE fabric will replace six flannel layers, four French terry layers, and three fleece layers. The more Zorb layers you use, the more absorbent your fabric will become.
Designed for Single-Layer Use
While some fabrics need to be interlined, you can use our 3D Bamboo Dimple LITE fabric on its own. With multiple colors to choose from, it is easy to design your product without taking so many steps!
It is engineered to meet exacting USA requirements, this is the highest quality-assured organic fabric on the market. Our fabric is also reversible so that you can create two looks in one. Whether you’re designing clothes or products for your pet, you can create a distinctive look that aligns with your brand.
A Multitude of Uses
The beauty of Zorb fabrics is how versatile they are. Indeed, you can use our fabrics for many different projects.
Some ideas include bed liners, bibs, burp cloths, cage liners, cloth diapers, diaper inserts, dish mats, dog diapers, face masks, menstrual pads, mop pads, nursing pads, period panties, pet beds, pet potty pads, towels, washcloths, and yoga towels.
Not sure which fabric would be best for your product? Try a swatch before you commit. Our 4x4 samples and swatch kits are just what you need to find the perfect fabric.

Important Notice about Natural Fiber Fabrics:
The attributes of natural fiber fabrics such as bamboo, cotton, and organic cotton can be influenced by various factors including the specific type of fiber used, the plant or tree from which it was harvested, and the unique properties of the soil. Despite the weight of the fabric remaining constant, its tactile sensation and perceived thinness can vary. This is largely dependent on the fullness of the yarn, which is dictated by the inherent characteristics of the fiber.
Fabric Weight: 340 GSM / 10 ounces per square yard
Fabric Width: 59" - 62" wide / 149 cm - 157 cm wide
Fabric Thickness: 0.050 inch /- 10%
Approx. Shrinkage (Length): 5 to 6%
Approx. Shrinkage (Width): 5 to 6%
Important Note about Shrinkage
All natural fiber knits will shrink further. Percent shrinkage has been tested in a controlled lab. It may vary under different wash/dry conditions and from batch to batch. It is recommended to test shrinkage on a small piece first and then pre-wash whole yardage at the setting that your finished stitched item will be washed.
Approx. Stretch (Length): 5%
Approx. Stretch (Width): 20%
UPF Rating: 50
☀️
Important Note about UPF Ratings:
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 % of the sun’s rays and allows 2% (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly. A UPF 30 fabric blocks 97% of UV rays and allows roughly 3% of UV transmission. UPF 15 indicates that the fabric blocks roughly 93% of UV rays and allows about 7% of available UV radiation to pass through.
UPF 10 to 30 = Fair Protection
UPF 30 to 50 = Good Protection
UPS 50 = Excellent Protection

❗
Important Note about Absorbency in 3D & 4D Zorb fabrics:
These fabrics are designed to be absorbent and made without the use of any chemicals during manufacturing. Our Ready-AbZorb process helps eliminate the need for pre-washing for absorption and also reduces the shrinkage. However the fabrics are made in large batch sizes on industrial machines and sometimes the fabric may not absorb as desired from when you receive it, or sometimes after cutting and sewing. In such cases, we recommend running the fabric through a hot wash and medium dry cycle; this will help remove any handling residues and activate the super absorbent fibers that might have been affected by handling.
